On behalf of our client an R&D  design and manufacturing facility, we are seeking to staff an experience IOT Channel Sales Manager responsible for driving sales for an industrial control systems for industrial engines and generators -  cloud based remote sensors and IP communications monitoring and data analytics. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and execute sales plans focused on positioning company products and solutions

  • Understand customer's needs and position company offerings as their solution

  • Develop and maintain technical and commercial knowledge of company, offerings and industry

  • Source, contact, develop and nurture new customer relationships

  • Prepare proposals and quotes for customers with compelling supporting information and rational

  • In combination with the CEO determine quarterly and annual performance targets

  • Travel as required for customer meetings and to attend industry expos, trade shows and conferences

  • Create and manage to pursuit plans for customer opportunities for small, medium to long sales cycles

  • Lead proposal efforts on specifically defined opportunities, and coordinate company resources to develop/secure sales

  • Support and if necessary coordinate, internal resources needed to ensure successful product and services delivery and a satisfied customer

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and enabling systems

  • Provide input to product requirements, prioritization and roadmap

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with as-a-service and/or cloud experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business preferred

  • Professional sales training (such as Sandler Sales) or willingness to become certified 

 

SKILLS, EFFORTS AND ATTRIBUTES 

  • Enjoys customers and building a young high-growth technology company

  • IoT, Cloud Services related products sales experience is an asset

  • Highly organized, driven self-starter, with comfort working in emerging technologies in a small collaborative corporate structure

  • Proven sales and account management experience with business and / or industrial customers, with ability to grow business and target customers

  • Strong listening and questioning skills

  • Excellent oral/written/presentation skills and the ability to create compelling presentations and proposals

  • Experience with, or a passion to learn about, IoT, data analytic technologies and how solutions can benefit customers 

  • Solid PC skills and competence with Microsoft Office, videoconferencing such as Zoom and CRM software

  • Professional with unwavering integrity
