On behalf of our client we are seeking to staff an experience Channel Sales / Business Development / Channel Management Rep. responsible for managing existing channel distributor relationships, and for sourcing, engaging, developing, securing and maintaining new channel / distributor partnerships for aftermarket industrial products within motor, engine or generator industries within North America and Europe.

This role is for you, if you are able to review a manufacture's industrial after-market product, research and determine who the resellers and distributors are for that product - any industrial after-market product - and create a channel sales plan to approach, engage, and secure that reseller and distributor who are responsible for selling the product to end users...

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • MUST: Evaluate and expand existing channel network - research, develop and implement reseller sales strategy.

  • Develop sales funnel, engage, develop and on-board new channel and distributor partners

  • Take ownership and be the valued contact for all channel and distributor relationships

  • Prepare proposals and quotes for signing new channel and distributor partners

  • In combination with the President determine quarterly and annual performance targets

  • Minimum co-travel within North America - approx. 15%

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2+ years experience in channel sales, development, services or maintenance specifically for engine, motor or generator aftermarket related products

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Business preferred
